LAWRENCE AND THE RUBY

An exploration of two worlds colliding from vastly different universes — taking inspiration from one historical setting and combining it with one of fantasy. It originally started out as a kind of cinemagraph, almost a gif, but transformed into a bit more — Lawrence of Arabia meets Ruby Weapon.

Xtep : Reactive Coil
Animation spot for Xtep's new performance shoe technology, Reactive Coil. At Already Been Chewed we worked with an international client based out of China to bring this spot to life. Working as one of the in-house lead artists my role involved rigging and animating the running shoes and waves, camera moves / animation, some shoe build-on, styleframes, and some live footage / CG compositing.
Cloud Dancer
A brief project exploring volumetric VDB clouds, simulations, and skyward visuals through a ride on a living sky glider.
OPKIXONE | LAUNCH
The Launch video for the tiny, powerful OPKIXONE Camera. Created at Already Been Chewed. As one of the in-house lead artists, my role involved designing and animating assets, environments, and scenes for the spot, inlcuding the computer dash, launch tunnel, thruster attachment, astronaut rig, camera work, compositing, and edit. Look-Dev, Styleframes, Animation.
Mavericks : Cracking Shots
A quick series of shots developed for the Mavericks in-game hype video revolving around stone fractures. They were used throughout the edited timeline. My role involved initial styleboards, set-up, and animation of the splitting, crumbling, and cracking shots used in the project, along with other various tasks. G-Shock 6900
The relaunch of G-Shock's DW-6900. Created at Already Been Chewed — part of the in-house team. As one of the lead artists my role involved creating the animatic to block out the flow / shots, animation, design some of the environments, water displacement, and composite scenes together. ABC: We worked with G-Shock to help relaunch the DW-6900 from... back in the day. It originally released in 1996! We developed this concept drawing inspiration from the past and realizing that it all comes back around to... nowadays!
Fire and Ice
An exploration in growth and forming — controlling the effect with a single shader in a procedural manner. The creeping melt of lava-esque surfaces and the formation of crystalizing ice.
Under Armour :: HOVR Drive
The animation tech spot highlighting the improved technology and features of the Under Armour HOVR Drive Golf Shoe — revolving around comfort, energy return, and traction. As one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved developing concept frames, concept edits, animatics, styleframes, and developing various animation methods to show off the features of the shoe. Look-Dev, Animation.

My role involved various tasks ranging from animation to modeling to texturing to lighting. Below are finals, styleboards, and concept pitches.
