G-SHOCK : 6900

The relaunch of G-Shock's DW-6900. Created at Already Been Chewed — part of the in-house team. As one of the lead artists my role involved creating the animatic to block out the flow / shots, animation, design some of the environments, water displacement, and composite scenes together.

ABC: We worked with G-Shock to help relaunch the DW-6900 from... back in the day.
It originally released in 1996! We developed this concept drawing inspiration from the past and realizing that it all comes back around to... nowadays!

Under Armour :: HOVR Drive
The animation tech spot highlighting the improved technology and features of the Under Armour HOVR Drive Golf Shoe — revolving around comfort, energy return, and traction. As one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved developing concept frames, concept edits, animatics, styleframes, and developing various animation methods to show off the features of the shoe. A space chase. The little guy. The underdog doing the unexpected. An animation created in my spare time that was inspired by stark throwback arcade games and graphic novels. Sound Design by JM Cifonie. Thanks for watching!
FOX RACING V3 | RPC
The animation spots showcasing the Moto V3 and MTB RPC Fox helmets — highlighting the features that make them two of the most technologically advanced helmets on the mountain and track. As one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved developing styleframes, animation, flow / timing / edit, foliage, x-ray development, water-bead displacement, compositing, and other various tasks.
Brand Black :: Rare Metal
Animated spot for Brand Black's Rare Metal: athletic performance shoes revolving around the themes of lightning storms and thunder clouds. I worked on this as in-house lead motion designer at Already Been Chewed. Developed animated shaders / textures, spline PLA and cloth sims for laces, stitching, metal strips, and fabrics, along with other various tasks. A run snip — Redshift and run patterns. An in-between-projects quickie. Developed and modeled character suit to explore rig options, shaders, and motion clips.
Fabric Manipulation [R&D]
An R&D animation for morphing, sculpting, and deforming fabrics and cloths. Mostly procedural built. Rendered in Physical.
Utopia 360
Retrak’s debut spot for their VR Headset: Utopia 360. Snippets and frames of parts I worked on at Already Been Chewed. My role involved designing styleboards, animation, texturing, and other various tasks.
The Droids : Nixon x Star Wars
Two Spots I worked on at Already Been Chewed for Nixon’s release of the Star Wars Light Side watch set C3PO and R2D2. Collaborating with Nixon and Star Wars / LucasFilm, we developed the iconic droids into watch form with C3PO dismembered into pieces and R2D2 assisting within an X-Wing. My role involved leading the C3PO spot and animating shots 2 and 4 on R2D2, along with other various tasks. Sound Design by JM Cifonie.
Adidas Lightstrike Harden 4
Animation spot for the release of Adidas Harden 4, James Harden's signature basketball shoe. Already Been Chewed was tasked with creating all the CG shots of the shoe hovering in the designer's laboratory. As one of the lead artists, my role involved animation of the shoes and rigging, blocking out shots, styleframes, light-table animations and ripples, concept midsole animations, and shoe peel-reveals.
Fire and Ice
An exploration in growth and forming — controlling the effect with a single shader in a procedural manner. The creeping melt of lava-esque surfaces and the formation of crystalizing ice.
