Mammoth Mountain : Let Fun Rule!
A fun :30 spot created for the Mammoth Mountain ski resort, mixing low-poly geometric shapes with live action footage.
New Balance All Terrain : Hierro | 850-AT
The animation spots showcasing New Balance's all-terrain trail running shoes — The Hierro and 850-AT. The concept incorporated the idea of highlighting the key features across a stylized and rugged terrain, and with a single step, hit the different tech-points that make up the shoes. Working as one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved designing the animatic, creating styleframes, camera animation, shoe rigging and animation, terrain and vegetation animation, clear-coating on side of shoe, and rendering final animations.
Under Armour :: HOVR Drive
The animation tech spot highlighting the improved technology and features of the Under Armour HOVR Drive Golf Shoe — revolving around comfort, energy return, and traction. As one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved developing concept frames, concept edits, animatics, styleframes, and developing various animation methods to show off the features of the shoe. Adidas Lightstrike Harden 4
Animation spot for the release of Adidas Harden 4, James Harden's signature basketball shoe. Already Been Chewed was tasked with creating all the CG shots of the shoe hovering in the designer's laboratory. As one of the lead artists, my role involved animation of the shoes and rigging, blocking out shots, styleframes, light-table animations and ripples, concept midsole animations, and shoe peel-reveals.
Adidas Lightstrike Dame 6
Animation spot for the release of Adidas Dame 6, Damian Lillards signature Ruthless basketball shoe. Already Been Chewed was tasked with creating all the CG shots of the shoe performing on the court. As one of the lead artists, my role involved animation of the shoes and rigging, blocking out shots, styleframes, lighting, creating the court light strips, and helping with the edit.
Under Armour | HOVR HAVOC
Under Armour's HOVR HAVOC release, featuring the craft and technology behind it's design.
Fire and Ice
An exploration in growth and forming — controlling the effect with a single shader in a procedural manner. The creeping melt of lava-esque surfaces and the formation of crystalizing ice.
Bog Scallops
An abridged super-short. In a land where the trees and plants grow with memories of a mechanical age, sits a bog lit by lost technology. Bob, the last remaining caretaker, keeps things running by trolling the waters in search of small pods known as Bog Scallops. Created as a self-initiated project.
