BRAND BLACK :: RARE METAL

Animated spot for Brand Black's Rare Metal: athletic performance shoes revolving around the themes of lightning storms and thunder clouds. I worked on this as in-house lead motion designer at Already Been Chewed. Developed animated shaders / textures, spline PLA and cloth sims for laces, stitching, metal strips, and fabrics, along with other various tasks.

The Droids : Nixon x Star Wars
Two Spots I worked on at Already Been Chewed for Nixon’s release of the Star Wars Light Side watch set C3PO and R2D2. Collaborating with Nixon and Star Wars / LucasFilm, we developed the iconic droids into watch form with C3PO dismembered into pieces and R2D2 assisting within an X-Wing. My role involved leading the C3PO spot and animating shots 2 and 4 on R2D2, along with other various tasks. Sound Design by JM Cifonie.
Lightsaber Phrenesis
A quick, frenetic animation created to help promote the Star Wars themed Art Show "Powerful You Have Become" hosted by Already Been Chewed at Atama. It looped with other Star Wars themed animations on display. Concept, direction, modeling, animation, texturing, lighting, compositing. Sound Design by JM Cifonie.
Mavericks : Cracking Shots
A quick series of shots developed for the Mavericks in-game hype video revolving around stone fractures. They were used throughout the edited timeline. My role involved initial styleboards, set-up, and animation of the splitting, crumbling, and cracking shots used in the project, along with other various tasks. Spirit Lantern
A micro project revolving around lantern light, candle warmers, golems, and spriggans. Sound design by J.M. Cifonie.
Fire and Ice
An exploration in growth and forming — controlling the effect with a single shader in a procedural manner. The creeping melt of lava-esque surfaces and the formation of crystalizing ice.
Bog Scallops
An abridged super-short. In a land where the trees and plants grow with memories of a mechanical age, sits a bog lit by lost technology. Bob, the last remaining caretaker, keeps things running by trolling the waters in search of small pods known as Bog Scallops. Created as a self-initiated project. Utopia 360
Retrak’s debut spot for their VR Headset: Utopia 360. Snippets and frames of parts I worked on at Already Been Chewed. My role involved designing styleboards, animation, texturing, and other various tasks.
Training Mask 3.0
Work created for the performance respiratory conditioning device, Training Mask. A series of design and animation projects created by Already Been Chewed for the release of their 3.0 version. I worked as part of the in-house team as lead motion designer, from creating look-development styleframes to compositing, exploration and final animation. The series included teasers, trailers, spots, loops, print pieces, and packaging artwork.
Xtep : Reactive Coil
Animation spot for Xtep's new performance shoe technology, Reactive Coil. At Already Been Chewed we worked with an international client based out of China to bring this spot to life. Working as one of the in-house lead artists my role involved rigging and animating the running shoes and waves, camera moves / animation, some shoe build-on, styleframes, and some live footage / CG compositing.
Under Armour :: HOVR Drive
The animation tech spot highlighting the improved technology and features of the Under Armour HOVR Drive Golf Shoe — revolving around comfort, energy return, and traction. As one of the lead artists at Already Been Chewed, my role involved developing concept frames, concept edits, animatics, styleframes, and developing various animation methods to show off the features of the shoe.
